2. What Data We Collect

Data you give us

When you place an order, create a customer account, sign up for our newsletter or contact us, we process the information you provide. This typically includes your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, order details and the content of your messages to us.

Data collected automatically

When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits certain technical information. This includes your IP address, the date and time of access, the pages you visit, your browser type and version, your operating system and the website you came from. This information is needed to display the website correctly and to keep it secure.

Payment data

Payments are processed by the payment service providers you select at checkout. We do not store your full card or bank details ourselves. The respective payment provider processes this data under its own responsibility and in accordance with its own privacy policy.

3. Why We Process Your Data and on What Legal Basis

Processing your order (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We use your data to conclude and fulfil the purchase contract, to ship your order, to process payments and returns and to communicate with you about your order.

Legal obligations (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR). We are required by German commercial and tax law to keep certain records, such as invoices and order documents.

Legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We process data to keep our website secure and running smoothly, to prevent fraud, to improve our shop and to assert or defend legal claims.

Consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Where we ask for your consent, for example for our newsletter or for non-essential cookies, we process your data only on that basis. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

4. Customer Account

You can create a customer account to view past orders and save your details for future purchases. The data stored in your account remains there until you delete the account or ask us to delete it, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send you news about products and offers. We use the double opt-in procedure, which means you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter or by writing to info@talexomira.com.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies. Some cookies are technically necessary to run the shop, for example to keep items in your shopping cart. We use these on the basis of § 25 (2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

All other cookies, for example for analytics or marketing purposes, are only set if you have given your consent via our cookie banner (§ 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

7. Who Receives Your Data

We only share your data where this is necessary to process your order, where we are legally required to do so or where you have consented. Recipients include:

Shipping companies that deliver your order. They receive your name and delivery address and, where needed for delivery notifications, your email address or phone number.

Payment service providers that process your payment.

Technical service providers such as our shop platform, hosting provider and email service, who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Authorities and advisors such as tax advisors or public authorities, where this is required by law.

We never sell your personal data.

8. Transfers Outside the EU

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. In such cases, we make sure that an adequate level of data protection is ensured, for example through an adequacy decision of the European Commission or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

We store your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Order and invoice data are kept for the periods required by German commercial and tax law, which can be up to ten years. Data processed on the basis of your consent is deleted once you withdraw it, unless another legal basis applies.
